Without reduction of a thin layer of enamel, over-contouring may occur, which can cause problems to develop later. We do not recommend bonding laminate veneers without such preparation. Don't be fooled by no prep, no shot, or no pain veneers, they are not for everyone.

- Keep patient's expectations realistic!
- Shade is the taughest things - educate patient on difficulties.
- Every patient is different and unique.
- Face shape, midline, smile line, contacts, embrasures, and symmetry.
- Overall tooth color may be change due to the dentin, body, and enamel layers of ceramics.

- Pictures of desired outcome (we use Smile Design and Smile Style Guide).
- Mounted diagnostic casts.
- Digital photo. Place yourshade tab at the incisal of the tooth.
- Wax-ups or drawings and pictures

- Please verify that the impression is free of voids, inconsistencies, or tears. Ability to accurately capture an impression is critical for correct transfer of information to us.
- Please take time to fill out as much information as possible on the lab slip. A legibly written prescription is critical to us
